Hi, I'm Jillian.

As a Certified Pre/Postnatal Corrective Exercise Specialist,

I help moms build strength, heal their core, and feel confident in their bodies through every stage of motherhood.

Ironically, I found my niche when I became pregnant myself. At the time, I was already working as a personal trainer, but suddenly I had more questions than answers.

How should I train during pregnancy? What changes were happening in my body? How could I support my core and pelvic floor?

The guidance I received often began and ended with, "Just keep doing what you were doing before... and throw in some kegels."

That wasn't enough for me.

I dove deep into pre and postnatal fitness, corrective exercise, and the science behind helping women move well before, during, and after pregnancy. What started as a personal search for answers became a passion and a mission.

Today, I help moms navigate everything from preparing for labor and delivery to returning to exercise postpartum, rebuilding core strength, improving pelvic floor function, and overcoming the frustrating symptoms many women are told are simply "part of motherhood." (Newsflash: they're not.)

As the mom of a beautiful four-year-old, I know how important it is to stay strong... not just for ourselves, but for the little ones watching us. My goal is to help women create a healthy, sustainable lifestyle that allows them to show up fully for their families without losing themselves in the process.

Motherhood is demanding enough. Your fitness shouldn't feel like another thing you're sacrificing.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is exercising during pregnancy really safe?
100%. Not only is it safe, but it's scientifically proven to be beneficial for both mom and baby. While every pregnancy might need a different approach, choosing to exercise regularly is a fantastic strategy to set you both up for long term health benefits and mitigate the risk of potential pregnancy-related problems.

What are your credentials?
I'm a certified Pre- and Postpartum Corrective Exercise Specialist through FitForBirth. I was certified as a general Certified Personal Trainer through ISSA for 5 years prior.

What exactly can you help with?

  • Physical preparation for birth

  • Strengthening your core through pregnancy & postpartum

  • Safely returning to exercise postpartum

  • Weight loss

  • Building muscle

  • Moving with less pain & more stamina

  • Addressing pregnancy-specific problems like diastasis recti and symptoms of pelvic floor dysfunction within my scope of practice

  • Referring mothers out to qualified professionals for issues beyond my scope of practice (like pelvic floor therapists, birth doulas, OBGYNs, registered dieticians, etc)

I've never really exercised before and now I'm pregnant, is it safe to start for the first time during pregnancy?

Yes! If you're a total beginner, it's not too late. You and baby can still hugely benefit from starting a new exercise regiment, provided your doctor has given the thumbs up.

What's the benefit of hiring a pre- and postnatal specialist instead of the general trainer at my gym?

I used to be that general trainer at the corporate gym, so I can confidently say: the typical trainer has literally NO idea what they're doing when it comes to coaching moms and moms-to-be. You would be shocked at how little education regarding pregnancy changes is provided in certification courses for CPTs. Hormones, biomechanics, and lifestyle factors massively change when a woman becomes pregnant, and it's important that your trainer understands what those changes are and how to appropriately address them. This reduces injuries and optimizes training to be as productive as possible.

Think about it: if you wanted to run a marathon, you'd hire a marathon coach... if you wanted to compete in a powerlifting comp, you'd hire a powerlifting coach... if you're planning on going through the intense experience of giving birth, you should hire the coach that's equipped to get you prepared for that event.

What's your coaching philosophy & style?

I believe that fitness should be one small factor in your otherwise very full life. As moms, I think we can agree that we generally sacrifice way too much. Our own health & well-being isn't something we should toss aside... but most of us still do. Why? Because it's hard as hell NOT to!

My entire approach to coaching is centered around finding the easiest solutions to ensure that you are making consistently healthy choices to support your goals. This isn't an experience where I'm going to make you eat, sleep, & breathe hardcore fitness. It's an experience where we're going to collaboratively explore what makes fitness feel fun, enjoyable, & sustainable for you. We can achieve your goals AND make it not suck.

How much do your services cost?

I pride myself on having options available for every budget. Since every program is fully personalized with the features that you actually need, we can work together to create a plan that works for you. In general, the more frequently we have scheduled live sessions, the more expensive the monthly cost will be. Don't be afraid to directly mention that cost is a concern for you when we chat. I used to be a broke single mom, & in this economy?! Trust me, I get it! General ballpark of services can range anywhere from $50 to $500 per month depending on service level.

Is there ever any reason to not exercise during pregnancy or postpartum?
Yes, there are certain high-risk situations in which exercise is not recommended. These are always evaluated by a doctor on a case-by-case basis. For this reason, I ask that all participants be fully transparent with their medical history, and if any red or yellow flags are identified during our intake process, I will require an official confirmation from your doctor before starting a workout program.
